San Francisco City Hall Elopement

Of the many elopement locations across the bay area, San Francisco City Hall has to be at the top of the list when it comes to elegance and WOW factor. From the marble floors, to the intricate stone work banisters, to the perfectly vintage windows, SF City Hall provides you with a picture perfect backdrop to your elopement day.

Whether you choose a weekend or a weekday elopement, you can be sure to find many visitors at San Francisco City Hall, from citizens conducting official business, to other brides and grooms., and even tourists. This elopement was done at 9am on a Thursday and experienced all of those.

Our couple booked out the Mayor's Balcony for their elopement however during their booked time, other visitors and photographers were occupying the space. I would recommend if you are going to spend the money to book the area, that you be prepared to speak up if you need people to move out of the area! Thankfully, our couple did not need the space for the official ceremony so once we took our pictures we ventured off to other areas of city hall.

There are several floors of City Hall to explore but the Grove Street side of the building (south end) has to be my favorite. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.
